Students who are NOT LAWYERS OR WITNESSES in the Mock Trial NEED TO
TURN IN:

Two assignments:

I.
Literature Circle's packet: Packet contains six readings.  Each reading
has a job to do (IE context collector) Students need to take notes
during their group meetings and put those on the back of their sheets.  
Students need to write a literary letter to Ms. Berry. Literary letter should
be in FRIENDLY LETTER FORMAT.  Part one of the letter should talk about
the major themes (truth, beauty, anger, hate, prejudice, isolation,
victimization, alienation ETC) that each of the readings have in
common.  (Make sure to used examples from the text). Part two should
discuss how you felt about the readings.  Where you inspired?
Surprised? Disheartened?  Be specific and use your own text to Self,
world, ETC connections to help explain.  One page minimum.

II. Beat Generation graphic organizer -- read the information about the beats, then use a graphic organizer to organize the information you
have gleamed from it.  

Study for WWW 31-40 Test (Test is on April 4th)

Reminder that TESTS are SUMMATIVE and CANNOT be retaken


Mock Trial Witnesses need to complete:

I. Write the direct examination questions for your lawyer.  You may work
with your doppelgänger  for this one.
II. Read all the stories in the Lit Circle and write the literary letter.
III. Read the hand out on the Beats and create a simple graphic
organizer.


Mock Trial Lawyers Need to complete:

I. Write your opening and closing statements.
II. Write your Cross examination questions.
